Here you can find all of the Legendary Pokémon from the New Pokémon Snap game.
Exactly ten Legendary Pokémon can be discovered and photographed in different stages of New Pokémon Snap. Some are relatively easy to solve, others require troubleshooting and persistence on your part. I hope your camera is free, because you’ll need to take a lot of pictures.
The new Pokémon Snap features ten legendary Pokémon.
Xerneas is the easiest Legendary to find, as it is the final boss of the game, the last Illuminated Pokémon in the last Illuminated spot in Ruins of Memory. They’ll face it anyway.
Return to the Ruins of Memory after meeting Xerneas and completing the scenario. Look up at the beginning of the scene and you’ll see Jirachi floating.
Mew, the coveted final encounter from the first game, is much easier to find this time around. Go to the Funya Jungle at night. When the parade starts, immediately turn around and turn on your music box. Mew flies away in a pink balloon that you can squash with a fluffy fruit to get a free shot.
Another legendary night bird, Shaymin, slumbers at night in a field of flowers in Florio Nature Park. When you get to the flower field, look for two crystal flowers on the right. Turn them both on and Shaymin will jump. If you do this at night, they will appear during the day.
We have a special guide to finding Selebi that you can read, but if you want the short version, just follow the path through the forest to Elsa without looking back, and she should pass you at the end, in a clearing with clothes on. If it does not appear, your search level may need to be higher.
Manafi finds himself in the night version of Maricopia Reef, which is opened after an encounter with Xerneas. Towards the end of the stage there is an alternative route that passes a group of lapras. Light them all with Illumina spheres, then light the music box to summon Manafi.
On the upper level of the Outaway cave exploration, look for a large chamber filled with crystals at the end of the curve. There should be two Carbinks and a Mawile; light them all up with Illumina orbs and Diancie will appear.
Ho-Oh, as you could expect from him over the years, is completely random. The only constant element of its appearance is that it appears in the air of Volcano Firestorm. It’s also still an unsolved problem, though it’s been seen more often in the space where Tyrantrum and Tyranitar fight.
On the Lenthal seabed, follow the fork in the road that Clavitzer discovered at the beginning of the journey. You will pass many free floats on the way down. When you see Lanterns swimming in the distance, light one with the Illumina bulb so Frillish can go after it. Later you will see that the same Lanturn is attacked by the Freelish. Hit him with another Illumina sphere to free him. In gratitude, he’ll show you another branch of the path that leads to the sleeping Lugia.
Suicune’s quest process has the most moving parts in the entire game, so it’s best saved until last. Look for Alolan Sandslash at the trailhead in Shiver Snowfield Dayfield. Take a picture, and it disappears. Catch it again above the beard, then again in front of the big ramp you are climbing. It’s digging a new path, but you can’t use it yet. Return to the square at dusk, and you can then walk along the path.
Find a caterpillar by a tree and throw an Illumina Sphere at it. This sets off a chain reaction, at the end of which the sword is thrown into the air. Take a picture of it and another path opens up. Follow the new path and you will see a lynx on top of Avalugga. Illuminate the Lynx with the Orb of Illumination, and Suicune will emerge from behind a cliff on your right.
